Why don’t you buy a Ferrari and drive around Sydney like a pro?
3D mural artist David Gennaro has created a 3D sculpture of his former teammate Alessandro Del Piero, complete with the Italian’s name written on the side.
In the photo, Del Pieros signature is written in black on a white background.
Gennaro’s creation, titled “I Will Never Forget You”, is the work of artist David Mazzarella and was unveiled at a screening at Sydney’s Port Phillip Museum on Monday.
The artist said Del Pieroes name was etched in the sculpture, and it also reflected his own feelings for the player.
“He was a friend of mine, he’s my mate and we’ve been friends for more than a decade, and I think it’s really cool that the art has done something with the statue and my feelings,” Gennero said.
“So when I saw the sculpture I was like, ‘Wow, that’s a really cool piece of work, I wish I had more time to do it’.”
It’s a piece of history that will never be forgotten, and one of the most iconic and memorable characters in all of football history.
“Del Piero died in 2014 after suffering a heart attack.
Gennaaro said Deli’s name was inscribed in the mural, which was originally created for the Port Phillip Sports Club.”
I don’t think there’s any other way to say it, he is a character in the history of the sport, in the sporting history of our country, and he was a legend,” Gennaaro told reporters.”
And we’ve created a sculpture of him to honour his memory.

Gennaero said the work was not meant to be viewed on a computer screen, but instead created in a digital medium.””
It’s an incredibly moving piece.”
Gennaero said the work was not meant to be viewed on a computer screen, but instead created in a digital medium.
“You know, the way that I work, it’s not easy to make things on the computer, but you can’t make a sculpture that is static and is static on a screen,” he explained.
“But it’s a very organic piece and the artist has a great sense of composition, and that’s what I really love about him.”
