In a recent interview with 3DPrint, James revealed how he got his first tattoo.

“I love animals, so that’s how I got that tattoo on my arm,” James said.

I thought I could, but I was still trying to learn how to do it.
That’s when I found 3D printing.
“I’ve been able to share this with you now, because I had to give up my job at the time, so I’ve had to get creative.””

“My friend helped me build a basic prototype of what a 3DP printer is, and then I took the printed prototype and showed it to my girlfriend,” he said.

“She said, ‘Oh my God, I love it, I can’t wait to have one of those’,” he said, adding that he has seen her use it on several occasions.
“It’s just amazing.

James has also released an iPad app called Trinket for 3D artists, which will allow you to customize your own 3D printed tattoo.
